The Rice Owls were down by as many as 9 points in the first half but rallied to take a 31-28 halftime lead which eventually led to a 65-55 victory over the Arkansas-Little Rock Trojans. Arsalan Kazami had 15 points and 9 rebounds for the Owls while Tamir Jackson chipped in with 12 points, 6 rebounds, and 8 assists for the winning side. Solomon Bozeman, the South Florida transfer, made 4 3-pointers in the game and finished with 13 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals for UALR. Also for the Trojans, Alex Garcia-Mendoza had 13 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists.
