That looks like my old high school field. Nothing fancy for sure. Massilon was actually bigger a long time ago. Football in the part of Ohio has been huge since the turn of the last century.

Ah, I had forgotton about your New Braunfels connection. While I am from Indiana originally and moved here about age 30 all my nieces and nephews on my wife's side went to NBHS so I am more of a Unicorn than a Cougar. They continually make the playoffs almost every year.

They're probably correct anyway, so you shouldn't argue too much, because otherwise he'll just blather on forever. On the internet Al Gore invented.

To give you an idea NBHS was a 4-A school when I went there and the dream was to someday be able to play 5-A ball against Odessa-Permeian who was the hot school back then. Also what graduating classes are your nieces and nephews part of? I was in the class of '83.

The earliest was 1994-Sally Kennedy is her name. The rest were all later. Did have a niece (Kate)as quite a volleyball star. 1st Team all State 4A (NBHS goes back to 5A now), MVP of the State Championship in 2000! Ended up playing D2 (oh how I wanted her to try Purdue) at Harding College in Arkansas where she was the Gulf State MVP player her senior year. At least someone has genes worthy in my family.

Even though I think it is silly to spend that much - Canton McKinley here has one that costs alot too, but the NFL built it not the people of Canton - I want to see it when it is done.

We got about an inch. Most of it is already gone.

The last two times I remember snow in N.B. was when I was in 3rd grade and my Senior year at NBHS (1974 and 1983).
