I understand it, but it's lame that the Big 12 will be called the Big 12 still...what names can you come up with? I've seen several.
I know in Arkansas, they're all considered "The Not as Hard as the SEC, Conference"
I like:
The Southwest Conference
The Big X
Mack, Bob, and the Other Schools
Pac/SEC Purgatory
New Names for the "Big 12"

How about the cowboy and farmer conference or the Texas state conference?

Just call it the Longhorn-Sooner Conference (the LSC). The winner of that game is conference champ.

Or in a strike for truth in labeling....The Big Two Conference.
Affectionately known as the big toe conference.

SPOT ON!!

They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

The Big Ten and Big 12 get a failing grade...for 2nd grade.
From the 2nd grade beginning of school year parent handout:
"Students who do not demonstrate proficiency in addition and subtraction math facts with sums and differences up to 10, by the end of the school year, will be recommended for retention."

I like the Southwest Conference. I know it's not the old SWC per se, but it's kind of close.

Welcome back Eric. I kind of agree, but I am sure they would not want to resurrect that failed and corrupt conference tag.Eric wrote:I like the Southwest Conference. I know it's not the old SWC per se, but it's kind of close.
