Davis out.

I guess they could go after Tressel.

I wondered about the awful timing...They let Butch talk to the media for them for the three days of "ACC Media Days" this week with no hint of his demise, and then they fired him. Fired him during the middle of summer camp recruiting and weeks before practice starts.

But...I suspect that Butch's private telephone records, which he had delayed making available, must have shown a pattern of calling recruits during dead periods or something.

Or...going to school on Ohio State, the Heels implemented the "Tressel solution".....Start up the bus, position the coach, and toss under the wheels and tell the NCAA to go lightly because the wicked had been dispatched.
