Maybe they will come to their senses and give the trophy to the loser of the game.

Looks like this should be a Cornhusker trophy..."The children of the corn".

It would make an OK ag trophy or a some sort of social awareness trophy. I don't get the football significance. That trophy is enough to quit playing the game.

You boys from the corn state really plucked my heart. What a lovely pose! It touched me to where I almost cried. I amsure the teams will also me motivated to put their arms around it!

That is bad! It seems corny is in of late. The WVU-Marshall game being coined, "The Friends of Coal Bowl" is still yet to be out done as far as names go. But I find the 2 to be related in that both in-state games highlight a staple product. I think each has tried far too hard!

They will probably handle it like Jim Delany handled the conference names. They say OK we will listen to the overwelming opposition and then we will shove the two stupid conference names down the peoples throats - eventually they will get used to it.

I always knew those rubes from Iowa were a little backward! I commission Razorhawk to design a dandy trophy.

AND the trophy is out. Wish I could have it. It's really starting to "Grow" on me. Armed with the understanding, that the state is all about the corn, I can't help but be endeared to the vision of every youth growing up in a corn field under his father's tutelage and then being shipped off to play their in-state rivals. The little kid on the trophy represents the next generation of Iowa football and the parent represents the returning player working his family heritage. All in all it represents the passing of a heritage from father to son and the "growing" of a new generation of Iowa football.

My first impression was WTF.
