Stanford vs USC

Postby Dossenator » Sat Oct 29, 2011 8:53 pm

Anyone watching the game. The refs are going to make sure Stanford wins this one. On every pass play Stanford DB's are tackling the WR's well before the ball gets to them. Not a single flag thrown.

Another key stat I was not aware of: Stanford has only beat one team with a winning record and we are over half-way done with the season.

Something I find interesting;

USC & Ohio St scored within 15 seconds of each other, both extending their lead to 10 points.

Wildly enough; Stanford & Wisconsin have both just scored, virtually simultaneously, bring them each within 3 points.

Odd . . .

Wisconsin got sloppy and lost.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

Andruw Luck does not look too hot when he has to actually play a real football team. My fingers are crossed for a Stanford loss....Clemson and KState all ready lost today. Arkansas should move up to about #5 in the AP and coaches polls (they were #8 going into today with all three of the mentioned teams ahead of them).

I have never said this before right now but go Trojans!!!!!

I could never pull for USC, even if Ga was in the position the Hogs are in. :D

That is bull...you tackle hard and you get a flag. These officials could not wait to throw the flag.

It was REALLY high today....REALLY high. 8) A lot of yelling and screaming at the TV over how terrible Ga played. But against FL, any 'W' makes you happy.

How they have won 6 straight with the coaching and execution they've done...I'm speechless.

But in terms of the Trojans the hate comes from the Reggie Bush love affair a few years back, and now that Kiffin is at USC, them losing makes me happy. And now seeing him cry over the regulation clock ruling to the refs, even after the video evidence was reviewed, for some reason made me strangely happy.

The Hook and Ladder. LOL! I love that name.

Sounds like something a wrestling announcer made up on the fly.

I want Kiffin to go throughout his USC career without a signature win, so I'm cheering for Stanford 8)

Stanford only won this game because of all the help from the refs tonight. Luck looked bad, Stanford D looked terrible....but Luck has been crowned the greatest ever so if he needs help the refs gave it to him. This was only the 2nd team with a winning record they beat so far this year.

Lotta talent on both teams. Stanford appears to be for real and USC!
The preceding statements are solely the opinion of GoBoilers and are, therefore, probably not based whatsoever on fact, research or more time in thought than what was required to physically type them. They're probably correct anyway, so you shouldn't argue too much, because otherwise he'll just blather on forever. On the internet Al Gore invented.
