Northern Illinois / Toledo

Postby Eric » Tue Nov 01, 2011 10:38 pm

Anyone watching this MAC thriller? I'm loving it right now. Granted the defenses are stinking it up to high heaven, but there's been a lot of excitement. I'll take it for a Tuesday night.

I have gone back and forth. I am surprised Toledo lost it, but when teams are putting up 60 points and 1000 yards from scrimmage I guess anything can happen. Beckman's time management skill could use some work. :D

I missed it. And I really would have like to have seen it. I have taken up the habit of checking the guide from Tuesday through Friday, but I hadn't checked in tonight until 9:30 Central! You know ESPN, for all of the self promotion, doesn't seem to advertise these Tuesday and Wednesday games much at all???

It was quite the defensive basketball game.

There in the second half, there was not one defensive stop.
Only on the last drive, pretty much due to the limited time.
All of those short kickoffs were crazy.
Especially the muffed one.

I'm sure glad this was played on Tuesday night.
Better than anything that was on.
And we didn't have to pick it.

I couldn't pick an apple if you put me in the middle of an orchard a day before a harvest that was days over due!
