I am not a fan of either program...but I, and maybe all of America who aren't Arkansas fans, saw the better team pretty much own the ball game after spotting 14 points.

After LSU beat the #2 and #3 BCS teams behind them...the playoff is done. Give them the trophy.

You have a team that has the game won, your opponent is still torn up over the loss of a teammate, Ark can't stop your run, and LSU is slinging the ball around like they are getting beat...that's classless.

Not sure how anyone could support LSU. I have gone to two games in Baton Rouge. They are by far the rudest and nastiest bunch of fans you will ever encounter. I was in the Razorback back band and LSU fans were throwing full soda bottles at us during the game. One of Tuba players got hit in the head and was bleeding pretty badly. When our bus was leaving the stadium, so dumb butt LSU fans would not let us leave, and they stood on each side of the bus and shook it, the cops had to get envolved. And the profanity that spews from the crowd is unlike any stadium I have been too. It's chant of F this, F you, racial slurs all over the place, etc. Only stadium I have ever feared for my life (and I actually mean I was afraid for my safety and well being). And this is not isolated. All teams have a small percentage of idiot fans. LSU has a lot....about 50% of their fan base.

My second visit to LSU was not with the band and the experience was bad as well.

I will never set foot in Baton Rouge again, and for the life of me can not understand why anyone could support that behavior. I have been to all but 2 SEC stadiums and only seen this bad behavior at LSU. Alabama fans are always welcoming.

Grinder...in no way am I saying you are like the LSU fans I describe above.

I must have watched a different game? Arkanasas was the team for about 15 minutes but by the end of the 1st half, it was pretty obvious of the domination of LSU, good calls, bad calls, or no calls. None of that mattered. LSU is one of the better all time teams I have seen in the past 2 decades whether they are thugs or not.
The preceding statements are solely the opinion of GoBoilers and are, therefore, probably not based whatsoever on fact, research or more time in thought than what was required to physically type them. They're probably correct anyway, so you shouldn't argue too much, because otherwise he'll just blather on forever. On the internet Al Gore invented.

Well, he ran 48 yards on a breakaway touchdown score.
He dropped the ball in the middle of the endzone.
He then pointed to the crowd with both hands.

The rule where a TD can be revoked is when a player taunts and/or celebrates on the way into the endzone.

By definition of this rule, Jefferson did not commit a penalty.

Been to Baton Rouge five times...always enjoyed the trip...(helps when you win). The fans were loud but not ugly.

I will not go to the Swamp and subject my wife to their fans again (and I will not go to Gainesville for any reason), and I don't like the younger Cane fans in Miami (not now a problem since they were bandwagon fans), but other than that, I don't dislike any set of football fans at their stadium.

But..in this game, LSU left no doubt. If they are throwing the ball while up in score, well, shame on Arkansas for allowing the yards. Bobby Bowden always said that he learned his lesson when he was a young coach and complained to the winning coach about the other team still competing and gaining yards when way ahead..." Coach, stopping us is your job, not mine".

It is always those who are butthurt that complain about "lack of class"....it is game with the object of one team to score and the other to stop that score. If your team fails, don't blame the other team.

Unfortunately, this system that seems to get all of this support, demands running up the score. You just can't support a corrupt system and then complain when it's inadequacies show up.

The worst fans, in my opinion, in the whole country, bar none, is TCU. They are all I would never want my kids to be. And it has absolute institutional consent.

Thanks grinder. I know they are not all bad and you seem like a good guy. My perception of LSU is not good based on my experiences, and I will never go back to Baton Rouge. I have tried to speak with LSU fans in Little Rock before the game and after several screw you Arky (or worse) I just gave up. In Fayetteville this year I had great conversations with Auburn fans, the Tenn fans were great, South Car fans, etc. Not sure what could be done to make a fan base more civil. If you are ever at the LSU vs Ark game in Little Rock let me know. I would love to meet you and talk football. I hope I did nor upset you much with my comments...tough week and never fun losing.

Billybud...Grinder is the one that brought up Petrino being classless. Why would Grinder be butt hurt...LSU won. I was just pointing out why Petrino may be upset. I don't mind if they are passing late. Game was all ready over. I agree with, if you can't stop it then it is a you problem.

Margin of victory is no longer a part of the computer system. Any rational voter knew the game was over and LSU was the better team for most of the game (especially the second half). So not sure why you run up the score at end...I guess this is for the people who can't or don't watch the games.

Never been to TCU but they would have to be pretty bad to be worse than the LSU fan base.

And on my two visits to Baton Rouge LSU won both games...they were nasty, rude, filthy, disgusting just for fun I guess.

Grinder...I just saw what Petrino yelled at Miles after game. Sorry and it was uncalled for. However, how quickly Miles forgets the courtesy Petrino showed LSU and Miles last year. AR was up 8-9 points and causes Jefferson to fumble. Ark recovers on the LSU 1 yard line. Petrino could have lined it up and made the score look like the game was not as close at is was. Instead he has Mallett take a few knees to end the game. Heck last week Miles took a knee with 5 min left at Ole Miss (why not go for more points if that's your philosophy?).

Only watch a few minutes of the game since I was out trying to find ammo for the British .303 rifle my dad just gave me as an early Christmas present. 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

If LSU beats GA, (billybud is right)...just give them the NC.

I'll admit that at the first of the year I ranked LSU #1 and then started dropping them because of several factors....I WAS WRONG as usual.

Arkansas played a good game until the 4th quarter. LSU is by far the best team in the country and losing to them even by 20 something points is nothing to hang your head over.

I was hoping for Ark win, since I feel facing Bama would be an easier victory for GA.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

Geez, anyone at Louisville, Alabama, etc. could have told you that years ago. He was a prickly fellow all around. Decent coach though until he got 20 points ahead and then it was (the Lou Holtz syndrome) 3 up the middle and punt allowing many teams to come back and a few to win when he was at Louisville.

As you can tell, I haven't much use for him, Swamp Daddy
