I'm not sure Charlie "fits" anywhere.

Not so sure, as I think Mangino stretched Kansas enough to be able to fit Weiss in.

I think it was still a tight fit. OK, that is bad.

Toledo promoted their offensive coordinator to head coach after Tim Beckman left for Illinois. Matt Campbell is 32 years old

Campbell is a star. He may not start the season at Toledo.

Malzahn now at Arkansas State. An interesting hire to say the least, especially when BCS conference teams were courting his services. He turned down the job at Vanderbilt to stay as a coordinator at Auburn, so this is a surprising move.

Rumor has it, that Chizik decided to go to a pro style offense and told Malzahn that he should move on. Strange, as he was supposedly making $1.3 million per year. That $1.3 may have not been a guarantee, but with bonuses and incentives. The job he accepted at ASU will pay a little more than half that. I think they included a house and other perks. I am sure his wife and her bit with the pastor Floyd that went viral, has not helped his career.
