My hats off to the football players of La Tech.
These players visited kids who were in hospitals...then they donated their Bowl gift $300 Best Buy cards to kids....in this age of "me-ism", I found this gesture at Christmas to be one that should be shared.
My family, after a great Christmas dinner, raised a glass of iced tea and said..."Merry Christmas Bulldogs"...I'll always cheer for this team.

I would take my hat off to Michigan players that did that. Good to see some guys get it.

I know this happens a lot and in some ways it not getting a lot of attention is all right. The reward of giving and no one knowing is a feeling everyone should have, I know you all know about what I speak. But for these young men to do this is so great, thanks for mentioning it.

Sure am glad I checked this thread! I missed that generosity some how....did know they visited the children. But I recall watching the game and becoming a fan in the 1st half...there was something about their energy and intensity...including the coaching staff!
I here you on that, but I would like to know if Marshall or WVU were to do similarly. As I would be inclined to step up with a donation as well. I'd like to claim I don't need prompting...but sadly....
