Texas vs Cal

Postby Yeofoot » Wed Dec 28, 2011 4:07 pm

Am I going to be the only one watching?

It's weird watching Texas on a Wednesday Night.

and Friday..and Saturday.....I am going to watch the game. We will see how Harsin does. I think he has brought some of the old foggy predictability out of Texas football.

Not at all. I just finished transferring the LSU vs Arkansas game from this year to a DVD and now ripping it to an avi file. Now watching the start of Toledo vs Air Force, then the Shorthorns and finally, I will set my Tivo for the Iowa vs Purdue BB game that tips off at 9:30PM. (Will probably watch the basketball at around 5AM tomorrow morning.)

I'm (obviously) pretty fired up for it, but have no idea what to expect.

I'm hoping for a Texas win. I picked them.

The Texas D was stout. I love Mack...always slipping in some smack talk about the SEC when possible.

Texas defense had to be the key and was about the only bright spot I could see. California lost because you can not win with five turnovers. Offense on both teams, seemed to me to be mediocre at best. You just wished you could see teams execute well, didn't happen on my screen last night.

The game indeed was very sloppily played on the offensive side of the ball. Neither team was very impressive, but Mack Brown likened it to an SEC game?

Mack is really upset at Missouri.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.
