It ain't pretty
Jimbo says that 8 true freshmen may be on the field at the same time on offense due to injuries.
Four true freshmen on the O line....freshmen at RB and WR.
Four true freshman kids on the O line against Notre Dame gives me some pause...that position takes some maturity.
The injuries have decimated the Noles this year.

Notre Dame has a decent offense, they aren't world beaters by any stretch. I still think Florida State wins.

Well..it is set...four true freshman on the FSU starting offensive line...QB Manuel will be pressured and running for his life and the running game is dead before it is born. Like Kelly just said in an interview, true freshmen have problems with third down and the various looks and pressures. He is game planning around that assumption.
I am hoping against hope...
Saw my boy off and he is on the way to the game with my tickets and high hopes. His mom and I were smiling as well for we fondly remember those road trips together when we were young.

Notre Dame's defense isn't great at all. I think Florida State will be just fine. Notre Dame can move the ball on offense. They can get verticle. If Florida State has for green limeman, Fisher may go read option, or pistol to protect his QB and create some time for his QB to run an offense. Ohio State has had a questionable offensive line for 6 or 7 years and they did fine until they hit a defense that could play ball. Notre Dame doesn't have a great defense at all. They aren't terrible, but they are very, very average.

As I thought...FSU's defense (held the Irish to 7 points) let them stay in the game...then the Noles scored in the 4th quarter to steal the game.
A bowl win is a bowl win...but Jimbo needs to have the offense rolling next year with WVU, USF, and Florida on the OOC schedule.

I thought Florida State went to conservative calling a run on 2nd and seven when they were on the three. They ran the ball to create some space and then ran the ball on second down. Third was an obvious passing down, and then they give Notre Dame a really short field on the facemask. Good thing the ND QB threw the 2nd big INT and Florida State coasted home. I thought I was in trouble of going back into the losing column, but the Noles pulled it out for me. Lets go Baylor.............................

Don't go against the Noles in a bowl....won the last four.

I didn't. They got me 28 points and my sixth win in a row. They just scared me by going ultra conservative the send to last drive. Then when they got that facemask on what was already a short field, I got worried, but the Domer QB saved me with a perfect strike to the Nole DB.

I don't like Notre Dame, but I have nothing against the Noles. I have some pretty good friends that are Nole fans. They are easy my favorite Florida team.

Looks like Baylors is going to stop my streak and cost me 29. They can't seem to stop any drive.

I think Baylor's only defense is their offense.

Re: It ain't pretty
I thought Washington would score, but I didn't think they could score at this rate. Combine that with a turnover and a turnover on downs, and that's the difference right now. I don't know how Baylor's defense can catch up with Washington down three scores and a possession right now.
