Yep Spence...an ugly game....maybe four different Gators could have blocked that FG...I wonder what happened up front?

OSU needs a QB with quicker feet and more able to read progressions quicker.

What ain't pretty are those Oregon mirror helmets. My etes hurt.

Richt ought to catch a bunch of crap for the first overtime. You intercept, so now you need a score. They run 1 play for 2 yards and then decide on 2nd down to lose a couple of yards to get the ball in the center of the field, to set up a 40 plus yard field goal. Keeping in mind, your kicker has missed 12 field goals this year. Then on 3rd down you miss the field goal.

I am glad I am not a Georgia fan.

Ohio State's special teams have been terrible all year. Fundamentally bad. Ohio State's QB is very quick he just is also very indecisive. He got thrown to the wolves this year without the benefit of taking #1 snaps in the preseason. He isn't especially fast. He runs a 4.5 forty, but he is fast quick running through traffic. His problem isn't reading his progressions faster, it is reading them at all. He also doesn't read defenses very well. He hasn't progressed much since being promoted to starter. He really needs to work with a QB coach and spend a ton of time in the film room learning to read defenses. Learning to put some air under the ball wouldn't hurt either.

Ohio State is really bad. I really thought they would get beat 35-40 points. I'm surprise they scored at all on offense. I knew Florida wasn't very good either, but I thought they had to be light years ahead of us. Ohio State probably threw less than Woody threw in any year and Woody had a saying about passing the ball "three things can happen when you pass the ball and two of them are bad". I don't mind a team relying on a power running game, but Ohio State was so completely one dimensional this year that almost every team they played put nine guys in the box and walked one up. That is why I give the Oline a little bit of a break. They earned their scholarships this year and looked bad doing it.

Terrible coaching decision. When Murray took a knee on 2nd down I almost could not believe it. That's where you line it up and try to run over a tired defense in overtime.

I kind of like the helmets, but I would question why they would let a team wear a helmet like that. If light hits them the right way an opposing reciever could lose the ball. I don't think a helmet that reflects light like that should be legal.

Spence you think of everything! Now, if we can just have Oregon forfeit! I presume us BT followers are rooting for trhe Badgers (I know that that school up North will never have your support).

I root for everyone, but them. The best I can do with Michigan is to not root for them to lose. I do think the helmets could cause problem. As big a cry baby as Bielema can be, I am surprised he didn't complain about this from the beginning. If Boise State's blue field and blue uniforms could cause a problem then this would be 100 times worse than that. I'm not sure it has caused any problems in the game, but I could see where it could. Oregon scoring on Wisconsin's defense at will seems to be a bigger cause of problems in this game.

Going into this game, Braxton Miller had been sacked 33 times. I took it that he hung on to the ball too long or was unable to dodge defenders and throw...

He does hold on to the ball too long. It isn't because he isn't quick. He has amazing hitch in his hip. He just is kind of a deer in the headlights in the backfield. When he gets out of the pocket in a read react situation that doesn't require lots of thought, he does alright. He is very slow reading his progressions and he doesn't read defenses well. His problem is more lack of coaching than talent. We will find out next year if he has the "head" play QB. Tressel was the QB coach at Ohio State. He got canned before getting a chance to work with Miller. Tress would have redshirted Miller and had him spend the year in the film room and on the scout team before making a move to the team.

I actually could see these helmets being banned as a distraction. Problem is, it would be after this game and the current advantage!

What is more of an advantage to Oregon is that Bielema is an idiot. I can't believe he burned two timeouts because he didn't know a rule. What a loggerhead.

Last team with the ball wins just like the Alamo Bowl!

LOL. Wisky is the lesser of the offensive teams but, I think Wisky will win.
