Petrino followup

Postby Swamp Daddy » Wed May 02, 2012 5:14 pm

Saw this on a local board in Louisville, might be old news on this forum, might not.

A virtual tour of Bobby Petrino's lavish Arkansas house:

Click on the picture to start a slide show. I found it quite interesting. 2.5 anyone

It's been on the market for about 3 years. He has had trouble selling it. He bought not long before the housing market dropped. He still has a house for sell in Louisville as well. I imagine he is having the same issues with it as well. You would think with the kind of money he was bringing in that both homes are paid for.

You know he was texting his real estate agent in Lousiville twice just minutes before he crashed his motorcycle. In fact, he had to of been on the bike while he was texting. Not sure if he pulled off the road or was texting while driving. That may explain the accident.

His real estate agent for his Louisville home is the brother of former Lousiville QB Brian Brohm.

When you click on the link it says the list price is now only 1.95 million.

I just want all that Razorback stuff in the closet. Looks like a hundred or so Razorback shirts.

Well; maybe when Spence wins the Power Ball he'll buy one of Petrino's pads, then we'll all gather there once a season for a "College Football Poll" bash.

I have never played the power ball , but if I ever do and I win; we will have a party.

I never thought of you as a 7 iron and a wedge guy.

I have four wedges and only two woods (driver, five wood) 3-9 in irons. I'm an OK golfer. I can't seem get my handicap below nine. I'm starting to lose distance because of flexability (or lack there of), and I can't get a good hip drive because it hurts my knee. I have no choice but to be solid with my wedges - the rest of my game requires things my body is failing to do.

Did ya catch Petrino's "tearful" rededication to life? Boy, I heard some speeches like that (minus the tears) when he was here in Louisville. Hard for me to credit much more than masterful manipulation. Maybe he means it; but, I'm still skeptical.

Count me in as also skeptical.

I'm sure he is truly sorry. Truly sorry he got caught. He'd probably be road trippin with his Arkansas pop tart right now on a business trip if it weren't for his bad riding skills.

Vileborg, I'm stealing your line, "darn, is that why they are issuing Arkansas pop tarts this fall?" With apologies to real Razorback fans; but, I couldn't resist that one.
