Wow...thanks Doss! They got rid of Pam Ward...and even better, Craig James...Awesome!

Can't say that I am dissappointed. I never much cared for Ward.

She was like finger nails on chalkboards for me.
The preceding statements are solely the opinion of GoBoilers and are, therefore, probably not based whatsoever on fact, research or more time in thought than what was required to physically type them. They're probably correct anyway, so you shouldn't argue too much, because otherwise he'll just blather on forever. On the internet Al Gore invented.

I'm more stoked about Craig James no longer being on ESPN.

Man, I come back to check up on the board for the first time in a month or so and I get this news! Awesome!

I remember hearing her try to call some games....I needed counseling afterwards.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.
The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.
See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

Erin Andrews just left them too. I hope that means more Sam Steele.

Well, ESPN definitely catches all the "fluff" awards in sports broadcasting. And, not just for the females.
In my opinion, I wish they didn't have such a monopoly on good sports games.
Swamp Daddy,

I am also relieved that she is no longer with ES*#. She will fit in with the pom pom girls at FOX, I'm sure.
You must mean Sage Steele, and I can't wish for more airtime for her. Certainly much less grating than Andrews, but I would prefer Lindsay Czarniak.

Swamp Daddy,
I wish ES*# would do an experiment that NBC tried once in 1980 with one of their NFL games; no play by play announcers. I would suggest to keep the important matchups with announcers. The rest of the games would sound better without.

Well, it's my understanding, via a recent visit to ESPN.com, that their name now stands for Every Sports Person Naked.
However, one of the more abrasive commentators, is also gone. In the person of Trevor Matich. I cringed every time he did a game.

No I meant Sam (Samantha) Steele and she got the gameday gig plus sidelines on the Thursday games.
