Yep...we all pause to give thanks.

And I am thankful for so many things...

Already, the smells from the kitchen are starting to waft through the house....She Who Must be Obeyed is a master turkey roaster...

I made oyster dressing...and it's cooking away.

Turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, rice, giblet gravy, cranberry sauce, collards, green beans, summer squash cooked in butter with onions, baby carrots cooked in lemon-lime soda and glazed with an orange marmalade sauce, acorn squash (bourbon and cinnamon flavored)...and apple pie for desert.

My son should be coming over about the time everything is ready and we'll tank up and then sit around and watch some sports together..with She Who Must Be Obeyed, of course.

What a great Thanksgiving it has been: family, great food, and a Texas Longhorn loss. Does not get much better.

Had a great Thanksgiving, hope everyone else's was great as well.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.
