Might have interviewed with Auburn.

They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

So far the plane has been to Fort Worth, Jonesboro, Boise and Tuscaloosa. Where will it go next?

Rogers, Arkansas to pick up Bobby Petrino. No one wants to deal with possible NCAA sanctions. Well....Bobby doesn't care about that because he is out of a job. Bobby is a top 5 college coach and would make Auburn scary good fast.

I think Auburn needs to go with a proven commodity instead of hiring a coordinator. Another misstep and they'll be behind Saban for another 5-8 years. I don't know what hiring Petrino would say. Doss, you're right when you say he'd turn them around almost instantly. I just don't know if the fans or recruits would line up and support him after his numerous incidents.

The word is the big boosters and fans in Auburn want Petrino but AD and school admin does not. It has been reported that Petrino has spoke with Auburn in regards to the job. Auburn did not like going win less in the SEC and losing to the enemy Bama 49-0. The south is crazy about football.

Heck, the majority of Razorback fans want Petrino back.

Auburn fans would embrace him.

There's certainly a "forgive and forget (if it's my guy)" mentality that every sports fan base suffers from. It's the reason San Francisco Giant fans kept cheering on Barry Bonds and being willfully ignorant about his (almost certain) steroid use. Auburn fans who made fun of Petrino's motorcycle incident would most likely forget it the day the Tigers hired him, I agree.

I liked Bonds when he was at Pittsburg. I wouldn't walk across the street to see him today, nor Clemens. I don't have any use for the players that took drugs. Those guys should not be lauded for taking drugs that improved their play. Pete Rose isn't aloud back into baseball. Barry Bonds should be on a bench beside him.
