Capital One bowl

Postby Spence » Tue Jan 01, 2013 2:12 pm

I am watching the Cap one bowl now. I don't expect this to be a game. The Nebraska defense is horrible. I don't look for it to change in this game.

So far this is kind of an ugly game. Lots of mistakes. Rusty football.

Ugly....but close so far.

You would think Derek could get this under control.

Yes...because Derek waits until the 4th quarter to put down his Doritos and diet ginger ale and start coaching.

Mark Richt needs to get him off the bench quicker.

Yes. This is what I've been saying all along. Ga's play calling is terrible on the offense.

They always seem to start slowly, and that's a big problem IMO. People have been calling for the OC to be replaced for several years now.

I'm glad they pulled it out, and hope the Murray does come back next year. I don't think his NFL prospects are that good right now.

Then again, this could be from sitting around for 3 weeks.

I apologize for not getting involved sooner, I know they looked rusty. 8)
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

Georgia was sloppy, but I thought Nebraska played better than many expected them to. The defense was awful, par for the course lately, but not other-wordly awful like they were against Wisconsin. I said this before and I'll say it again, I thought Georgia's defense was soft for most of the year. I understand they had a lot of NFL prospects, but it was either hustle or want-to or scheme-related, but I didn't see them play with a lot of intensity outside of the Florida game.

And had they played their last drive right, against `Bama, they would be playing the irish on the 7th.
