A little college basketball and that is all sports for me. This offense will not work in NFL. The guys are older and just don't have the stamina do play 85 - 105 snaps. Up tempo is great, but not an NFL thing.
Also, if Kelly attempts this type of offense and has decent success, other teams will do what Kansas State did in the first quarter. Keep Kelly's offense off the field. Kansas State had some great moments of doing this. With under a minute to go in the first half, Oregon scores a TD.
I am pretty sure you guys know more about NFL than I ever will, but I can't see 32 - 40 year old O lineman that weigh 320+ pounds hop up for the next snap within 10 seconds and continue it for the entire game. If this was successful, could Kelly's defense deal with being on the field so much?
Great win Oregon in the Fiesta Bowl.
I just don't think it will work as a base offense. Kelly's offense doesn't look so good against good defenses and their are lots of very good defenses in the NFL.
