On the other side, it is hard to argue with Johnny Manziel being the Heisman winner. If he can keep a good Oline in front of him he could very well be the first three time Heisman winner. He is very impressive.

Johnny Manziel is in another league. I'm ashamed I ever doubted him in this one. I thought Oklahoma would come out fired up. I thought Oklahoma wasn't getting their due respect because they're such old news ("eh, another 10 win season for the Sooners, yawn" type of thing). I was getting skeptical that A&M was getting too much hype.

I agree that Manziel can win this thing three years in a row. Extremely unlikely, but there's no way he doesn't finish his career with two Heismans if healthy. I also think, with three years left, he wins at least two SEC titles. That's saying a lot with Alabama and LSU in the division, but they can't really stop him. He's going to get better. His footwork, field vision, balance, coordination, and throwing on the run is literally unstoppable at the college level. I was sitting there saying to myself, on one of his reverse-pivot rollouts outside of the collapsing pocket which he managed to turn into a nice gain, "what is Oklahoma supposed to do?" The answer is nothing. You have to cut your losses. The top notch SEC defenses can cut their losses, but to translate that, instead of getting 550 yards, you hold him to 350 yards of offense and between 25-30 points, probably enough to win SEC games.

When Manziel lost to Florida and LSU, he was still a little green. This guy is going to be one of the biggest difference makers in college football history. I don't often make those kind of proclamations, but I have no reservations saying that.

He is a great QB and full of confidence, but he is behind five future NFL offensive lineman. He had all day to hang out and throw the ball and the running lanes were just sick. They were even opening east and west lanes and holding them. That may be the best five offensive lineman to ever play on the same team in CFB. They were nothing short or outstanding.

Last night you had to believe, despite the win loss record, right now they may be the best team in the country. Oklahoma was right on schedule for their bowl performance, but they are not a slouch team. Bowl games, you have to let it all hang out. Stoops thinks there is another game tomorrow.

As good as Texas A&M is, I think Oklahoma is becoming like USC to me. They will always get the benefit of the doubt. And, like you said, since 2001 they have not deserved it.

Their record is worse than SC. They haven't had a defense to speak of for years.

Which is ridiculous, seeing as how, when they won the National Championship in 2000, they did it with an unbelievable defense.
