Indiana may have to play for the turnover, here.
Either that, or hope they can force a FG try.
The way this is going, Notre Dame is chewing the clock up, and playing keep away.
If the Irish get into the end zone, the Hoosiers are gonna have to prove they can score quickly.
There's still a lot of game left. And Second half adjustments can be a huge difference maker.
But ND is not a team you want to be trailing by 2 scores after the break.

Indiana needs to run a straight option with rpo because they can’t line up and go toe to toe with the Irish and they absolutely can’t stretch it out against them.

They had something going for them, but those last three plays are making this difficult for them.
I don't know, 3rd and 10 and you attempt to run it.
Some of their best plays were passes.
Now we'll see if they have grit.
But if ND scores again, here, it might be an early night.

The pressure made him throw the ball while he was still stepping back.
He didn't get to step into the throw.

They haven’t gained a yard in a straight run yet. Especially on a wild cat. They need some misdirection runs to keep ND honest.

This would have been a great place to try and put the game away.

I really don't get it ...
This has happened quite often this season.
Teams rushing to the line with more than 1 timeout remaining, and they hurry to snap for a play with under 30 seconds, and not to spike it.
