This article is related to the Sugar Bowl, but I think it covers a much larger topic than this one game.

They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

I think attendance will be an issue. I think 50,000 or maybe fewer depending on location is probably the mark to make for the semis. I think the national title game will get great travel though. Fan bases will be excited for that, no question.

Speaking of something similar, I would like to see the SEC play games in California, Arizona, Texas, etc. for some bowl games. We need a Pac-12/SEC bowl game for sure. But when you're drawing teams from the South, you might as well have them play nearby.

We have talked about this before. I don't know many people who could afford to travel to two bowl games. There are bowls in the south, southwest, and west. people down there will probably support their teams if they have less than 400-500 miles to travel. I can't see eastern or midwestern schools traveling 1000 miles one direction and then having to go 600-1200 to another place. Football tickets tend to cost more than basketball tickets, playoffs are going to be a costly proposition.

I'm betting a lot of Las Vegas (and elsewhere) bookies lost on the game. I did not get to see the game on TV (relegated to the radio); but, some clips are appearing on YouTube and I'll watch them until I find someone who recorded the game.

And props to Charlie strong for calling out ESPN analyst David Pollack who was more full of it than usual all week prior. :oops:

I didn't miss it that Louisville is basically a Florida team...35 Florida kids on the roster.

Found a high quality posting of the full game on TV, downloaded it, finally found time last week to burn it to DVD with a menu and I've watched several times. I'm too broke to have cable or dish; so, often radio is the only way I hear games. It was sure fun to finally watch this game a few times. :P

Florida left 7 on the field and I think UL left either 14 or 10 on the field. Good game for UL fans; all of whom are already drooling for next year. LOL

Hey Swamp Daddy;

I'd like to have a copy of that game ... I'll submit my e-mail to you in a PM if you could send me a link, or somehow get me a DVD of it . . .

I will also send to you a couple of links to online sites where you can watch most of the games, without charge.
