Nope.....

That's a killer ...
the `Eers need some sort of pick six or fumble scoop & score, now.

I have no idea when was the last time West Virginia scored 18 points in a football game..... I’ll have to look it up.

I'da had a play ready for that situation ... run the play clock to 2, then snap it.
No need to waist a timeout.

What a game ...
It was close most of the way through. It took one team to capitalize off of the other's mistake.
One play really changed the complexity in this.
Sorry things didn't turn out for you Mountaiman. But the `Eeers did show up to play, regardless of Greer's decision.

Just for the record, Greer’s Agent supplied him a sizable advance...... he’s a family guy with a wife and little girl. It was the right thing for him to do.
Wish him well in the draft......

The Big 12 isn't really known for defending...but for offenses.
Last year...Oklahoma was held to 17 by Clemson in the playoff...after scoring 50 + on WVU, KU, TTU, KSU, Baylor, and TCU...as well as 48 on Texas and 48 on Ok. State...

Well, it’s a new day, and I’m still a Mountaineer Fan. It’s fascinating what a little reflection and 6 ounces of 1792 can do to bring a fan back down to earth. Somehow the realization that a team going into a game down 8 starters, 4 on each side of the ball, and losing another to a pseudo-targeting call during the game will probably not provide the outcome one was hoping for.
In the end, it’s just the realities of football that makes the game so appealing, win or lose.
Let’s Gooooooooo Mountaineers!!!!!
...........btw, I picked Syracuse to win the game.

That targeting is tough this year with the calls...but you have to keep your head up...hit with the crown against the upper body and you might get a flag.
But this targetting call looked more than a good call...Scroll down and watch the clip..
The WVU DB has a player already down and aims his hat at his helmet...knocking it off....you can't do that in today's atmosphere...it was targetting if ever one was called..IMHO

When you go into a game without your starting QB it makes it almost impossible to win. Just from a team attitude kind of thing. That is the world we live in right now though.

Horseshockey..... where was the ‘launch’??? Where was the head/neck area hit??? The only ‘contact’ was made with the shoulder...... take a look at the marker on the sideline, my guy just ‘squatted’ in an attempt to keep the guy from reaching the marker. It was the “appearance” of targeting, not targeting.
