On another note, a lesson that can be drawn from WW2 is that IF the world would have listened to Winston Churchill and taken care of Hitler earlier, there might not have been 36 million+ people die, 20 million of those Russians, and over 430,000 Americans.

But don't look for that lesson to be applied by our "Dear Leaders", in the war we are in against radical Islam. We are rolling over and capitulating, more worried about how France views us than defeating an enemy that we are afraid to admit we are at war with.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

And if we'd have listened to Patton we'd have went ahead and took care of Russia and China before they ever got "The Bomb"!!!!

Well...this land was split into two nations...and seemed to do all right.

Canada was split off after the revolution and remained an English colony.

And look what a screwed up mess they are. If the United States weren't to their south they would not be a sovereign country today. Canada isn't the best example, because their proximity to the US is the reason they have survived as a country.

Yes, and their socialist economy has benefited from American business, such as the automobile manufacturing from GM. Their social utopia might not be as successful if they didn't have the commerce from the US.
