Oregon State v Stanford
Oregon State is physically out of shape. Pathetic display by the Beavers and Stanford may be for real.

Oregon State hasn't looked good so far this year.

I thought Anderson would do something, they look like they have not been coached well. Conditioning, execution has to be there, it is not. I get you may not have the players, but they need to be outblocked at the right spot or miss tackles at their assigned position. The second half it looked like they had bought tickets and wanted to watch the game.
I wished I didnt detest Oregon, again, where is Fluiddue, but I do so I will be loyal to the Beavers remembering there is no Duck on the Oregon State flag.

I can't say I was that impressed with Anderson last year at Wisconsin. I thought that Alvarez and him having very different philosophies had to to with it. Maybe he is a better co-ordination than head coach. Sometimes people assume a great co-or donator will be a great head coach. It is not always the case.

I would suggest that today, you are glad you do.
After this weekend, there might be a Ute hunting a Cardinal on that flag.

Football in the Northwest where there was only one scoop, to begin with, melted like an ice cream cone in Miami, only more quickly.

Exactly. The Indians of Oregon and Washington were never warring. Always plenty of food and shelter. So they sat around and got lazy and turned to football. Well the Utes..alway ferocious and the Stanford Indians before they became politically offensive to the bird nation took so many scalps that the barbers of the Northwest are all on unemployment.
And Cougars are really just some lame house cat. Only the horses finally kicked some fancy dressed horse rider wannabees.

....and might I add all my teams other than the one located in a state where there are no cities, sucked. And at that they sucked like a Hoover with a broken belt.

Oregon doesn't look very good, for sure, but the PAC looks to be lots better this year.

I think Oregon State is in a bit of a rebuilding mode and that the cupboard was kind of bare. Villamin and Bolden are good targets, but they're breaking in Collins who is a true freshman. The defense is very weak though, and that's Anderson's specialty. He did manage to turn Utah State into a great defensive team and a top 25 team to boot, so I'd give him some time here.

I'm okay with Anderson. Not sure I am with their conditioning, but he defense was on the field a long time while the offense was slurping down hot dogs or whatever they were doing, not playing, for sure.

I'm not sure how much conditioning you can do to cover an offense who can't control the ball long enough to give them a break.
