I sometimes wonder just how far down the road we are from terminal change ...

Then something frightening you hear as a child, manifests itself to heighten one's sensory.

These Commissioners have, along with their predecessors, created a MONSTER. And are now looking for a SUPER HERO to save their Gluteus Maximus…….

I can hear them now, while they’re wringing their hands and singing along…..

…….. and here lies the fate of College Football and other College Sports, in the hands of a retiring 75 year old female liberal judge who doesn’t know a football from a frisbee and was admittedly ‘Judge Shopped’ by the plaintiff attorneys about to make a decision impacting the whole of College Athletics while Powers that be in College Athletics are gathered in Washington DC drinking liquor and lobbying United State Senators to ‘Save College Athletics’.

I really they would put a stop to judge shopping.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

All this smoke and mirrors………. and look at what has been done and the outcomes to date.

Are same people, along with their predecessors, that have engineered the real possible destruction of College Athletics the ones trying to put Humpty Dumpty back together again?????

Where’s the plan to DEFINE and FIX College Athletics?????

Is the goal to FIX COLLEGE ATHLETICS or is it to simply gain authority to continue the current modus operandi?????

:?

The problem is ...

College Administrators and Conference Brokers are mistaking Humpty Dumpty for Jack's Goose.

What they do not realize, is that what they have was left behind by the Easter Bunny; Once you crack that egg and remove the contents, all that remains is an empty shell.

……….. so true, and now they’re trying to tell us that after what they’ve already done to College Football and College Athletics in general, that these very same people should be granted antitrust protection??????

TO DO WHAT????? One might ask…… 8)

I like what he said in that video when he used the words "I don't care if you label me anti-players rights, I am pro college football".

Well I would probably define myself as "anti-players rights", I have no problem with that label. You are a student athlete, not an employee of the school, you don't deserve millions of dollars for playing.

We can discuss a stipend to cover expenses, but this millions being paid to 18 years old isn't cutting it.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

I thought is was all to develop a system that was "In the best interest of the Student Athlete."

Or, at least, that's what they told us.

…….l just as I suspected, the Judge attempting to ‘legislate’ from the bench. Appears to me she’s trying to avoid being the one who’s ruling prompts an episode of ESPN’S 30 for 30 telling the story about the consequences of her decision.

……….. you know, I’ve heard tell that, “a mind is a terrible thing to waste”. But I’m just wondering if the NCAA attorneys would like nothing more than to have this issue heard in a different court by a different judge.

I can certainly see why they would…….. seeing how she’s retiring and was admittedly ‘Judge Shopped’ by the plaintiff attorneys based on her past performance and rulings, and now, realizing there will be consequences and has made threats and demands to the defense about NCAA rules changes that are already in place and being executed, that have nothing to do with the case before her.

I mindlessly await. 8)

They are basically saying please mr congressman, tell me what you will let us get away with today. The sad part in all of this is if the schools hadn't been so absolutley greedy in this situation, they ould still be under the old system, but these free thinking socialists are John D Rockefeller capitalists when if comes to their money.
