Fan Dies at Tenn vs NC State game

Postby Dossenator » Sat Sep 01, 2012 10:03 am

Did not see this until now. A man fell at the Georgia dome yestarday during the Tenn vs NC State game. He did not survive. The story also says a fan died after falling at a Texans pre season game this week. Crazy stuff. Be careful to everyone going to games this weekend.

I would assume alcohol is to blame? We had those two issues last year at the Rangers game where Hamilton threw the ball into the stands and the guy died reaching for it. There was also a fan that fell from the upper deck last year or two years ago too. Weird stuff.

They do not serve alcohol at that game....it was a Chick-fil-a event. 8)

Very sad....My brother was there for it. Have not talked to him about it yet..

I'll find out how close he was to it.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

Oh yeah....Duh

My default assumption when things like this happen is alcohol since it has happened in the pro sports realm.

The NCAA does not allow alcohol to be served at college games if the stadium is on a campus. When the Huskies play at the Seahawks stadium, the school does Not serve alcohol and when the Seahawks played at Husky Stadium they could not serve alcohol.....Nost sure why there are so many drunks at the huskies games....

I will never be convinced that drunk is greater than stupid! Stupid has been killing people since the dawn of man.

Yeah, you can fix drunk, you can't fix stupid.
