WKU edges UK in overtime

Postby Swamp Daddy » Sat Sep 15, 2012 11:13 pm

Western Kentucky University played UK last year and gave them a battle. This year Western went up on UK 17-0; UK came back in the second half only trailing 24-17 late. In the last 1 minute UK scored to tie the game at 24-24. :?

UK was on offense first in the overtime and scored easily and kicked the extra point. Western had trouble but aided by a timely UK penalty punched one in on their time on offense. Then, they rolled the dice and went for two points running right and throwing back left across the field to the quarterback who walked easily into the end zone wide open.

Listening to UK fans cry on their after game talk show now.

Interesting game, Swamp Daddy

Western Kentucky gave Bama fits last week. Sacked McCarron 6 times.

I always enjoy a Kentucky loss. You can excuse being in the SEC and continuing to lose in conference. But out of conference??? They need to go in the MAC, or swap with Louisville...they are never going to do a thing in the SEC.
Government exists to protect us from each other. Where government has gone beyond its limits is in deciding to protect us from ourselves.
If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.

My only response here is "Good for the Sun Belt". Now if only Troy could have pulled it out against Miss St. and UL Monroe completed the double over Auburn...
I dont care who wins as long as Notre Dame loses!

We all know what Kentucky is good for to the SEC and that comes on the hardwood. Any football success is icing on the cake. Kinda like Indiana.
