Positive from Ark vs Bama

Postby Dossenator » Mon Sep 17, 2012 10:41 pm

Arkansas was only flagged one time in the whole game, and Bama declined (illegal kick and took the ball on the Ark 5 after high snap).

So the box score shows Zero penalties: no false starts, no off sides, no holding penalties, no personal fouls, etc.

And they still lost 52-0.

And a negative: Ark ranks 119 out of 120 in turn over margin on the season. Lack of discipline and focus. This can not be blamed on Petrino. Another example of the team taking on the personality of their head coach.

When John L. was at Louisville, we always were in the top 5 in penalties, very undisciplined. The difference is then we would have been scoring the 52 against someone not giving it up.
