Hillis is tearing it up in the NFL this year with the Browns (has scored a TD in every game, and has a couple of 100 plus yard games....Hills and McFadden are both in the top 10 in total yards in the NFL thus year). And Michael Smith was on that team as well...a 1,000 yard back the year after the big 3 left for the NFL.
McFadden, Jones, Hillis, and Smith may be the best collection of backs on one team at the same time ever.
That's exactly what I was thinking too, Doss. With the way Hillis has played in Denver and in Cleveland in the NFL and McFadden with his bustout season in Oakland, that seems to lend credence to the fact that honestly, that probably was the best backfield in a long time, probably in the last 25 years at least.
