VT scored a combined 13 points against Clemson, a 10-3 team that lost to NC State and has a phrase associated with failing. Such and such team has "pulled a Clemson". You ever heard that?

The BCS is not about who should have gotten in. Which teams can bring the most fans and money is what drives the invites.

I was as shocked as anyone when the Hokies got the Sugar Bowl.

That's fine, I am not:

A. Saying Arkansas is not a good team
B. Saying that Virginia Tech / Michigan is better.
C. Saying that Virginia Tech / Michigan is more deserving.

I just said, comparing the two schedules, Michigan and Virginia Tech could have each gone 10-2 on Arkansas' schedule if they could handle South Carolina and avoid getting upset. It's easier said than done, but it's not out of the realm of possibility. Could Arkansas drop two between Notre Dame, Michigan State, Nebraska, or Iowa? Possibly although I'd bet against it. Could Arkansas drop two between Clemson twice, Georgia Tech, Miami, and North Carolina? Possibly, although I'd bet against it.

I would rather see Arkansas for the record. All I'm saying is that I don't know if it would be a cut-and-dried slam dunk that Arkansas' resume is overwhelmingly better than Michigan's.

Vanderbilt & Cincy - I love great defense and Cincy has had one of those crazy defenses for years.
Houston & Penn St. - Great Match Up!!!
S. Caro & Nebraska - Heck Yeah!!!
Florida & Ohio St. - Glued to the TV!!!
Georgia & Michigan St. - Glued to the TV!!!

BCS National Championship game - My view has not changed and I will not be watching the game. If Oklahoma St. wins against Stanford they will be my National Champion.

Ditto on these bowl and the NCG.

I'm really looking forward to playing Michigan State again. I also want to see how the "old ball coach" does against Nebraska. I'm usually SEC but after being in Nebraska for 3 weeks, they kinda grow on you...so I'm gonna stay neutral on this one.

Vanderbilt...Pulling for them big time, I like seeing other SEC come out of their 30+ year slump.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

My argument had nothing to do with Arkansas, as said earlier, the current rules eliminated them. No problem with that. I just don't see Kansas St not getting a spot as the second team from the Texas Ten Conference.

The dollars you know...

As said by many here, the amount of fans willing to travel and hence money, probably has more to do with the a team being DESERVING.

As far as the bowls are concerned that is most of it. From what I here the Gator is going to be a tough sell this year for Ohio State fans. There is a large alumni base in Florida that might save the attendence from the Buckeye side, but the people going from Ohio is looking pretty thin.
